Alligator Army

Once upon a time there was a girl who sang to the bullfrogs, skipped through the mangroves, swam among the alligators.  She was happy and free.

One day, people who looked like her started being pulled off the streets. They were viciously torn from their families, jobs, and lives and thrown in a dungeon surrounded by alligators.

The girl heard her people's cries.  She heard the king celebrate. She heard the light skinned minions saying all of her people should be fed to the alligators.

There were protests, riots, and lawsuits.  Nothing was successful in stopping the horror.  The girl took it upon herself to act.

So she sang to the bullfrogs to ask the alligators to help her people escape. And one night on a full moon she skipped through the mangroves to meet the alligators and lead the mission.

By now, her people knew she was coming for them.  Word had got around because the girl wasn't the only one who could sing to the residents of the Everglades.

They watched her arrive at the barbed wire with an army of alligators in tow.  They obeyed her commands to break the fences. To not harm her people but to lead them to freedom.

Then she called upon the pythons to slither in and destroy the evil that created this horrific place.

The war wasn't over but her bravery started a track towards freedom that is remembered to this very day.

The end.
