Spring

We have a tree outside 

It changes so often 

Every few days 

there's a different color on it 

First it was white 

Then pink 

Then the most vibrant red I've ever seen 

Then it went back to Pink 

Then White 

And now it's very light pink

Almost white

and has grown green leaves 

I've never seen anything like this 

Where I'm from, 

trees stay the same

They don't change season by season 

Let alone day by day 

I feel like it's a gift to see these changes around me 

Maybe one day things will change for me too.
